No, It was not inspired by FNM, but I do love that band.

 

In fact my brother in law tried out for them (guitar) when Jim Martin left the band. Did not get the gig, but spent some time in SF with the band and has some COOL stories.

I was able to see Rush once yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago. like maybe 20 years ago. I was a young teen ager and my sister took me. It was the Roll the Bones Tour in 1991. Wow. I was.............................shit! I was 12!!!! oh wow. I can still remember the show though. Was fantastic!

That's awesome. Rush is the best. I have seen them on every tour since 83, and this show will be my 14th time seeing them. They are so good live, despite being 58 & 60 years old, they still bring the rock. And if Neil Peart is not the best rock drummer alive, I will be a taint infested maniac. Wait.... uh, well, he is good.
