They could at least counter the pinkness with some black.

Turin got pinked by Cyan - it was funny.

 

He said afterwards he would like a pinked up Avatar for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The other Shadows in the Thread decided they would show solidarity for a good cause also. It's not till October, but they have all started wearing them already.

 

Still the more awareness the better I think.

So it WAS for breast cancer. When I asked about that no one said anything. I shall have to let my aunt know that people on my site are already wearing pink for it :P

Although, I'll switch to purple if anything else--that's just for cancer in general

Teal: Ovarian/Uterine Cancer

Gold: Childhood Cancers

Grey: Brain Cancer

Green: Kidney Cancer

Dark Blue: Colon Cancer

Yellow: Liver Cancer

Purple: Pancreatic Cancer

Black: Melanoma (Skin cancer)

Orange: Leukemia

Periwinkle: Stomach Cancer

Lime Green: Lymphoma

White: Lung Cancer

Lavender: General cancer awareness

Oh and for those of you who don't know, my aunt/godmother had cancer when she was in her 20s, then the treatment they gave her for that ended up giving her breast cancer about five years ago. She's worked for the Relay for Life for as long as I can remember

I probably should go Lime Green then. But pink is in my future I think.
