I really can't. They were involved at the same time with some other dominant comedy actors, almost in the way the Pythons came up through the same program at University, and apparently everyone just knew Fry and Laurie were something special. Steven Fry may have the single greatest command over the English language of anyone in show business... and Hugh Laurie is insanely talented as well as funny. love it

I am always in awe of Stephen Fry. The man is a genius. And he's got the best, most intricate description ever-have you ever tried describing him to anyone? The gay, bipolar Jewish author comedian philosopher that is obsessed with Oscar Wilde, and is one of, if not the last live person to know why 42 is the answer.

Never really tried to describe him by his traits before, usually just use a film... he narrated Hitchhiker's Guide... he was the funny man in V for Vendetta, etc. Such a great body of work he's got. He did a documentary series of himself coming to America that was extremely fascinating. Not the usual tourist stuff, he found some extremely unique things to do while here

I have a mate who helped dress him once or twice on the hobbit. Apparently he just talks and talks constantly about the most interesting stuff. She said she just wanted to sit and listen all day
