Well there's the show they announced. It looked absolutely crazy.

 

Unfortunately it got cancelled so I'm sharing this for absolutely no other reason than I'm bummed out right now.

Low ratings :/ Apparently after episode 5 of the first season things started to go downhill.

Oh man I didn't even realize it had premiered

I would have watched the first season if I'd known :(

 

Then again it sounds like it ended up like V and Flashforward

Good starts but couldn't hold it together

Yeah.. Have you heard of Last Resort? That's another show which looks like it could be promising and might get cancelled.

Too much political dispute apparently. Or maybe something even more unbelievably ridiculous..

I really liked Awake and was disappointed it got canceled. Looking forward to last resort.

meh, i watched Awake for the first few episodes but imo you could tell where the show was headed.

 

 

dude was in a coma the entire time, neither "reality" was real and it was an experiment into dream manipulation by both the "psychologists".

Was just reading up on the cancellation on Wikipedia and came across this

 

"Awake averaged 4.8 million viewers per episode"

 

WTF?

SGU averaged 1.something million in it's first season and it still got a second one before being cancelled

It's not like NBC couldn't afford to produce it

The only thing I can think of is it didn't make enough profit for them to be satisfied

They have so many cash cows on that network why couldn't they just leave us this show huh?

I mean I haven't watched it yet so I can't say it wasn't boring or anything but apparently ~4.8 million people enjoyed it so what the heck
