Guest room at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta, where I will be resting my head while my parents take care of my girls next week. :) That's my happy place.

 

This is so wonderful and just what you need! :-)

I'll be at a conference all day, but we're getting this room insanely cheap because it's attached to that conference ($165 a night, vs $425!). We're staying an extra night to make sure we get rest before we pick the girls up, too. *smiles* And it's my mother's birthday.

 

And you're right. It's JUST what I need right now. I just wish it wasn't going to be insane getting everything together for the sub and getting grades in, report cards printed and the decorations I have up my sleeve, too...

Now!!!!!! I have firmly come to the conclusion that mental vacations are necessary.

I'm right there with you! I want to sprawl out on a big fluffy bed and read a book from cover to cover... *sighs wistfully*

I'm trying to really do them. I have bought some relaxation DVD's and am trying to use them daily. I love visualization.

I hope to go there tomorrow. I went a week or so ago and walked on the trail. The wild grapes were delicious.

 

I love the city I live in. It's my happy place today.
