That is good to hear. I only recently returned after a semi-short hiatus, myself.

 

Military life is going pretty well. I am in Colorado now, but Korea was really fun! I recently got promoted (yay), and just going to work day in and day out, waiting for it to pick up. We're creating a whole new unit, so it's slow-going.

 

How have you been? I trust all is well?

"Gangnam Style" has got to be the Song of the Year. It doesn't have an amazing vocal, it has no profound lyrics, and the choreography is by no means astounding, but it has latched onto my brain like no other single has in years. Nothing says 2012 like this song. If it doesn't get a Grammy, it's a crime.

 

I think I've seen 15 vids that are homages, flash mobs, celebrities doing the dance & etc: In Indonesia, Chicago, Oregon, all over the place. I must've watched the Psy original vid at least 10 times. At some point I'm sure I'll never want to hear it again, and maybe in the future I'll be ashamed, but right now, I'm hooked.
