That was the very last time I will ever read the "wind" paragraph for the first time.

 

Oh so bitter sweet. I have been waiting for "the next book" since 1997 ... I never thought I would say this but I'm going to miss the wait.

 

My thanks to all of you here that make the anticipation so much fun.

 

I am actually scared to read on, because after this there will never be another new first chapter...am I crazy or what??

Probably, but so is everyone else around here! After all, why should Rand get all the fun?

If it's any consolation I feel like the last chapter is gonna have a new wind come blowing through as well. I may get emotional the first time I get my hands on this last book lol.

I've seriously considered not reading the last book.

 

if one only knew when life would end, I would wait until that point. This series has been so good to me, has meant so much...it's an emotional event to see the end.

My wild speculation of the last chapter is that it begins with the wind blowing, and it ends with Min writing the passage that begins with 'It came to pass in those days' and ends with 'Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of Time.'

It's obvious what the last sentence will be.

"Let the dragon ride again on the winds of time" is also my guess to the final sentence. I think it would be perfect but i have this vision that it'll be Loial writing his book and the way hé ends it in his thiughts while writing which in turn ends AmoL for us!
