Okay, so I have been rereading the WoT series in preparation for AMoL and I have been reading about Rand's little man-with-a-sword-on-his-lap angreal. Then I saw this article about a statue found by the Nazis many years ago. I know it doesn't fit the angreal description exactly, but I couldn't help making the connection. Although I doubt it will assist its holder in drawing upon the One Power, you never know. Might be worth a try. I mean, the thing is carved from a meteorite. I've seen enough movies and read enough fantasy novels to know it must have some kind of special powers.

yeah...carrying a 23.5lb statue into battle will make you special for sure though.

 

on a side note....it'll be interesting if Berelain finds that mangreal.

In addition to this statue, there is also the famous Black Stone, which is also from a meteorite.

Neat, yes it looks like Rand's angreal, though it is allot bigger, Rand's artifact is small enough to fit in his hand.

So, Angreal are made from metoerites? That explains why they are so rare... Though it doesn't explain the CK, unles AS Astronauts went to space and harvested the astroid belt.

I thought and angreal of our day would be a round of steroids. They give you strentgh,speed, and agility, Massive power, endurance, and tons of anger. That's an angreal of our day.
