Come observe Banned Books Week with the Browns!

Featured Replies

The Brown Ajah is observing Banned Books Week on our Ajah board. All are invited to take part in an event that marks the freedom to read, and discussing the controversy some works tend to generate. In the 30 years since it began, it has expanded internationally to call attention to people in countries with bad human rights records who are persecuted for works they write, read, or circulate.

For those who aren't familiar with it, Banned Books Week is an annual event started here in the States celebrating freedom to read and drawing attention to banned or challenged works. Here's a link to the Wikipedia entry.
