Anybody else relieved the NFL ref lockout is over?

I honestly just felt embarrassed for the replacement refs-- it's not their fault they were forced into a situation they couldn't handle.

The NFL didn't even need to lockout the refs in the first place; it was just to prove a point.

Anyways, I'm glad that whole debacle is over.

And...HI! *waves at Hax, Krak, Emp, JD and anybody else I forgot*

glad it's over? Yes. However, the refs gift-wrapped a win for New Orleans, except New Orleans frittered it away. Wouldn't that have been something, to have the same team jobbed by both the replacements and the regulars on successive weeks?

I don't watch football much (or at all...) but the Greenbay example wasn't the great. Granted, the refs missed the obvious passer interference but otherwise it was the right call in the end.

Mutual possession. Doesn't matter who had it in the air, it was who had it on the ground, and they both did, as such it counts as offense possession.

The point is mutual possession should never have been an issue because of the blatant pass interference. That would have ended the game.

Golden Tate sticking one arm in there doesn't count as mutual possesion...but regardless, blatant pass interference. And then yeah, the real refs almost screw GB over the following week with multiple terrible calls (and noncalls). Overall, glad they are back though, it'll be another week or so until they are really back into the flow of things. But even rusty, they are better than what was going on.
