Thoughts on mafia likelihood at this point:

 

JohnSnow: Was never CC'd about doctor claim. Likely town due to this fact but could have been recruited and therefore didn't protect Moon as cop. Also, has been less active which might be lurker status if he has been turned. Or, perhaps the mafia plan was to not kill Moon for a few turns and then have one member claim doctor right before she was killed, thus vetting a member for the rest of the game?

 

Rand: Has seemed town by volunteering for triggers. Could be trying to cover mafia role as he has also been leading conversations about lynches so maybe mafia member trying to direct town (e.g. Basel lynch with GF case)? Or just townie being active to help get the win?

 

Peace: Seemed town with the question about grouping. Possible that as mafia flipped the answer to confuse town? Though play so far has seemed pretty town.

 

Just getting some thoughts out there for discussion. Still curious to hear what peace comes up with during the re-read.

Also, while looking back I noticed that Krak was a vampire, but a townie, so I'm not sure how much correlation there is between "scary" costumes and mafia.

TGlems is really looking scummy right now, he still hasn't given us a role yet. And that comment about the scary ones still being town. And after that he still didn't post his role, like he is waiting for our reactions to see if he should reveal his true won or make up a random one.

I was waiting to post until Rand did so. I'm nervous of Rand because he has been pushing the conversation about there being a potential GF, which deflected attention on to myself and BG, which BG turned out town and I know I'm town so in my mind that could be mafia trying to direct attention. Then, Rand started asking everyone to role reveal without doing so himself, so I thought maybe he was trying to protect himself by finding out everyone's roles and making she his reveal wouldn't be caught if he makes up a costume.

Alright, so in my mind the last scum is likely Snow or Rand.

 

Rand, I completely understand how my waiting until you role posted could be seen as scummy, but as I said, I was wondering why you would ask everyone else for a role but not give one yourself, which to me seemed scummy.

 

Snow, where are you? I'm really beginning to question the doctor claim because now I know that neither myself or BG was a GF, so is it possible that the doctor claim was a mafia cover? Rand, Peace, thoughts on this? I mean, this is potentially the last day, and I can understand being quieter before this as you protect yourself, but if town doesn't win today or tomorrow then mafia wins, so I would figure you would want to be a bit more involved in scum hunting.

 

Finally, my big reveal is that yes, this doesn't have to be the last day. I was the one who got the Day 3 trigger and I have governer power that allows me to choose a person to be unkillable. Hence, if you guys start voting for me I will use it to make myself unkillable and then we will have no lynch, thus making this game last another day.

Gah, sorry, one more thought.

 

Right now there are 4 of us. 3 are town, 1 is mafia. That means, for us three townies, each of us considers our vote to have a 33% chance of being correct. E.g., for myself I have a 33% hit rate in my vote between Snow, Rand, and Peace. However, if I use my 1 time governor power, then I won't be killed and tonight the final mafioso will kill one more person.

 

If one more townie is dead there will then be three of us left and for the two townies that means they will have a 50% chance of being correct. Hence, a better probability.

 

Because if we get it wrong today, then the mafia kills tonight, then tomorrow there would be only 2 people left, one mafia and one town so mafia would win the game.

 

Lol, alright guys, executive decision by the newb. I'll wait an hour to see if there are any counter arguments, but then 'm going to better my odds of catching the mafia by using my power. If you guys can think of a good reason why I shouldn't, please let me know, since I know I'm new and there could be something I've overlooked.

His costume reveal was a woman but peace's gender is male, so I thought maybe he had grabbed the picture from somewhere and used it. Third of all, since Peace says that there is more on list 1 than list 2, this means that you have to be mafia since we can't add to list 2 without it becoming equal. This means that either Peace is lying or you are maf. So its pretty much between you two right now, so I don't know why you two are not crossing. Fourth of all, I don't see why you delayed that long, giving me your costume wouldn't help me, and if I didn't get mine, you could have just pressure me until you did. So I am almost sure that you are maf. Well, I was waiting for you because mafia has the ability to recruit, so that means, if peace is being honest about the question, you could have been recruited to be maf and his question would still be mafia. And yes, if you were making up a costume, all of us giving ours first to your request could have helped, because then you could ensure yourself that you wouldn't reveal a fake claim that someone could then call you on. It just seemed strange that you would ask for everyones role but not provide your own.

 

But, if we all think that it isn't doc, and I know it isn't me, then that leaves you two, which means either peace was lying about the question or you were recruited.

 

Anyways, I did ask Lily to use my gov powers. I'm glad that it was solid reasoning and you both agree...just wish we could get snow in here.
