Galadriel walked her forest sensing the evil that approached. This was a day she had hoped would never come. She had steeled herself to the possibility and prepared as best she could but Sauron was not to be trifled with. His power was nearly as great as his evil. She would defend her people and her lands...

Sauron was out to make an example of the one that had defied him for so long. The others would get theirs as well. The half elf hidden in his valley and his one-time brother that had escaped him for so long. First the Elf-Maiden. Her defiance had been strong even back before He had stepped from the shadow of Melkor. He would settle this score today...

Really!!!!!!!! You had to match me against Ithi!!!!!! Gee, I can't imagine how this would go wrong. :tongue:Promise not to balefire me.

Sauron stepped into the forests of Lothlorien. He knew this was a dangerous place, but not for one as powerful as he. He came here seeking blood, but more than that, the fall of one of his strongest enemies. It would be wonderful to finally see the Lady Galadriel dead and her people broken, falling around her. This would be a day of great victory for him, and he would make sure that it would be a victory. The elves thought that they could use their rings, well Sauron would show them why he would be the Lord of the Rings. Carefully, he assessed the weapons he would bring into this battle.

Fire: 16

Earth: 16

Air: 13

Water: 12

Spirit: 13

Sauron nodded in self-confidence and then saw her, the Lady Galadriel. He smiled inside. Would she take the first move, or would she be gracious enough to give it to him. He waited for what she would do.

Let you go first? I think not!

Fire: 13

Earth: 12

Air: 16

Water: 15

Spirit: 14

Galadriel spotted Sauron daring to enter the Elven Glade. This must not be allowed to continue! Seeing his eyes burning with his eternal fire of evil, she wove a Storm of Ice and hurled it at him. Happily it worked, and he seemed a little less sure of himself covered in cold white frost.

Round 1

Attack: Ice Storm

Damage: 6

Ithi: 100

Rand: 94

Sauron waited for Galadriel to make her move. Suddenly she lashed out with a storm of ice. Sauron was pushed back with this brutal attack. So this elf was not one who had the foolishness to allow her enemies to attack first, that was well to know. Maybe she could be turned, an interesting thought that. Thoughts for a later time though. Right now, Galadriel had to be made to cry and whine under his power. Then maybe she could be used. Sauron observed Galadriel and saw that she loved her trees. Well, he wondered what she would think if they turned on her. He waved his hands and suddenly all the trees started burning. Galadriel saw what had happened and Sauron smiled inside as he knew the love that Galadriel had towards her precious trees. Suddenly, he made the earth rupture and threw the flaming trees at her. He laughed as the burning wood buried Galadriel alive. And then stopped. The burning wood started to rise. Galadriel had just covered herself with a shield dome of air. She was safe. And. She. Looked. Furious.

Attack: Earthfire

Damage: 0

Ithi: 100

Rand: 94

I'm sorry Rand, but I'm a little confused. The DS Roller Archive shows this for your roll:

DORE SAIDIN<RandA lThor> Vs <Ithillian>

Attackers Name: RandA lThor

Attackers Rank: Asha'man

Opponent Name: Ithillian

Opponent Rank: Asha'man

Weave Name: EarthFire (E2,F2)

Cc:

Fire roll: 15/16 - opponents: 12/13

Earth roll: 8/16 - opponents: 8/12

Air roll: 0/0 - opponents: 0/0

Water roll: 0/0 - opponents: 0/0

Spirit roll: 0/0 - opponents: 0/0

True Power roll: 0/0 - opponents: 0/0

To get the Damage, the lowest difference of any single roll is multiplied by either 1,2 or 3 depending on the number of elements you used.

Which I think actually means your score was zero this round, because we both got an 8 in Earth.

? Thats weird, I did enter values in before that but when I looked at my screen it showed me that I hadnt entered in anything for earth so I redid it. That might have been lag I guess, or a glitch. But yeah, whatever the archives say. I'll edit my post.

No worries Rand. I figured the Rollers must have been having a mental or sommat

Indeed she was furious. That Saurin would dare to burn the trees that had been here so long. Truly he deserved to be destroyed. She wished that it been done when the opportunity had arisen before, but the weakness of Man had prevented that. Still, she had foreseen his downfall and perhaps she would be the one to cause it. Drawing the Power through Nenya, she wove Air and Water again, but this time into a powerful Hurricane that would douse the fires that burned and also smother his own internal fire.

Round 2

Attack: Hurricane

Damage: 6

Ithi: 100

Rand: 88

Rand was getting mad. These hurricanes were destroying him, and he needed an attack desperately. Rand wove something fairly simple, and suddenly the trees started to close in on her. Her own trees turning on her, so magnificent.

Attack: Earth

Damage: 6

Ithi: 94

Rand: 88

Round 3

Ithillian saw the very trees of the grove turn dark and close in on her. Sauron had grown so powerful and now his evil was affecting what had managed to evade him for so long. She tried to fight back and create a powerful storm that would drive him back out, but the Light in Nenya flickered and died. Things were very bad indeed.

Attack: Cloud Dancing

Damage: 0

Ithi: 94

Rand: 88

Sauron smiled as Galadriel's attack failed. Time to capitalize on it. Sauron took a nearby tree and launched it at Galadriel.

Attack: Earth

Damage: 4

Ithi: 90

Rand: 88

Ithillian created a blast of Ice that froze the tree before it caused even more damage. And then she froze everything within the vicinity, including Sauron. The grove looked like a beautiful winter wonderland, all sparkly and light. This would not harm the trees permanently - only lull them into seasonal dormancy whilst she dealt with this interloper. Layer after layer of ice coated Sauron until he looked like a very tall snowman or ice sculpture.

Round 4

Attack: Ice Storm

Damage: 6

Ithi: 90

Rand: 82

Rand knew that he had to go on the safe route and relied to what he knew best. Again, he lifted rocks up from the ground and threw them at Ithi. Some of them were able to hit her and caused her a little damage.

Attack: Earth

Damage: 2

Ithi: 88

Rand: 82

Galadriel felt support for her defiance of Sauron and tried again to drive him out of the grove. She reached for the storm elements and unleashed them against him, but this battle was draining her and it did little damage. She only hoped it would be enough.

Round 5

Attack: Hurricane

Damage: 2

Ithi: 88

Rand: 80

Last attack Rand, it is VERY close.

Sauron stared at Galdriel. He was surprised at how well she was doing. He suspected that as an elf, she would have given first blow to him, and been all nice and kind. Yet this one had proven herself a fight, someone who had been beating Sauron this whole time. Yet Sauron knew that in the end, he was the master of the One Ring, the ring before all others, the one that would soon command Nenya. He would rule her eventually, and he knew himself to be a master. Because of this, he weaved something had failed before. Quickly, he gathered up all the wood that he could find near him and set it on fire. Galadriel smirked, as she thought she knew what Sauron was doing. However, she had no idea. Suddenly, the wood split apart into splinters and arrows of fire, and Sauron moved them to surround her. Then, all of them came flashing towards her at the same time. Galadriel could not hope to block it from all directions and Sauron laughed in glee as he watched Galadriel fall beautifully. Once she had fallen, Sauron walked away, ready to face yet another person who was ready to challenge him.

Just for clarification, I did some practices on this one, I labeled them Ithillian Practice Not Real, and the real one I labaled Ithillian.

Attack: Earthfire

Damage: 10

Ithi: 78

Rand: 80

Good match Ithi, it was fun! Honestly, I just got lucky in the end there. And, um, can you tell Turin not to balefire me.

Don't worry, he will get beaten by a pair of Hobbits in the end.

Unless I get the One Ring. :baalzamon:
