Going off in different directions

Featured Replies

Is it me or is it that everytime something is posted, the first couple responses have to do with the actual original post, and then for some reason the conversation always goes in some different direction and after a while the post has nothing to do with what was originally posted?

I just thought this was funny and why its so hard to find things in the forums..

Has anyone ever noticed that the WOT series has now surpassed the 'IKEA bookcase' standard of acceptable length?

:p

Its in part because no matter what gets posted the information has roots in other area's so when those roots are brought up you get the tree effect.. and it just spirals. The few things that dont go off topic are Egwene hate, Seanchan hate etc anything people feel strongly about. but in general its like any forum. Very hard to keep focused.

Yea, things rapidly spiral to another topic because we are easily distracted. I'm pretty sure the balefireing self thread is currently on what would actually cause a paradox in time travel.

Hey did you guys know...

The WoT audiobooks are narrated by a woman for the female PoVs and a man for the male PoVs.

Aran'gar has two PoVs in the series. Her first is PoD 16, where (s)he's dragging corpses in Salidar - and her second is KoD 3, where (s)he meets with the other chosen.

Get this: The first is read by the woman, the second is read by the man!

I laughed really hard when I got to that part lol...

Also, what do you guys think about Demandred?
