Brilliant title, right?

Seriously though, I just went to Barnes & Noble and saw the new paperback editions of the older books. I am a British man living in the USA. I have been reading this series since about book 4. I have hardbacks and paperbacks all nearly destroyed, some in the UK sizes, some in the US sizes, all different artwork.

Does anyone know if Tor plan to release a complete set of all the books in the new covers / format? I am not usually so OCD, but I would quite like the entire collection like that.

Just thought I would ask, as I know some of you are very knowledgeable about this stuff!

I have no idea what the answer is but I suspect you might have better luck asking about this on the official Tor website.

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
