I'll try to add at least a stanza a day myself, but feel free to continue the tale. 

 

Make sure to post at least two lines, that rhyme and preferably stick to a similar setup of lines.

Once upon a fateful day, 

A day succumbed to night,

Thoughts of mindful sought to weigh,

The terrible, wonderful sight,

A dragon rose on blazing wings,

And into the sky, took flight,

To bind and to destroy all things,

The Creator's champion of light,

towards Shadow's amassing force,

the Dragon looked with pride,

humanity to follow this course,

life and Light join his side,

Can we hold this epic off until after we know what happens? 

That's when we finish it lol

Yeah, half the fun will be couching it in vague "prophetic" verse :)

Dark and Light begin to clash,

Nights and days begin to pass,

Steel strikes steel,

The One Power reels,

Spawn of the Blight rides forth,

With a sullen breath,

A gaze upon all that's left,

The army of the dragon rides north,

fractured nations side by side,

can naught stop the Shadow's tide,

Wolf and Raven, Snake and Spear,

an Age's end draws fast and near,

Heroes rise and Heroes fall,

the Shadow shall not claim this fight,

through it all one Horn's call,

and stout the banner of Light,

That good sir, was awesome.
