Ok so shamelessly posting yet ANOTHER thread :P

 

My character got approved yayyz! And I have already started her off in a little retro RP happening pretty soon before she joins the Band.

 

So anyway, Miri is a runaway tomboy gal, minor noble, with a temper and mood swings...Beware :P

 

Shall I just start off an RP travelling through some forest place where she happens to chance on some Banders and thinks it a cool idea to join up with them?

Or would someone like to do a bit of more detailed planning with me beforehand, to make this a fun little story? =D

Miri sounds unpredictable and interesting. Your RP sounds fun. I think that discovering how she got to this crossroads in her life will be part of the fun. Go ahead and set the scene!

 

 

Well, I haven't asked to have any RP characters approved or anything, but I like to do RP in some of my threads, OP battles, etc.

I was actually asking BotRH RP group people who have roleplay characters that will interact with Miri as she arrives. It's a bit different from the social group RPing... but thankee muchly for your feedback anyway! :happy:

Also, we have intro threads where we generally wander around looking lost until someone picks us up.

 

Arkin can find you whilst on a scouting run near the Citadel and a) convince you to join the Band  b) take you to the Citadel by force because you're trespassing/dangerous whatever    c) ahh...give in to your desires to join the band...   d)   whatever other way you think of    XD

 

But basically, Arkin will play!

 

Where is Arinth? He should be around to play as well...

Yah, I don't want her to get too specialised/skilled in a weapon or fighting stuffs, in case I do want her to become a novice someday. So, Scouts sounds perfect, and not to mention fun :D

 

Okeedokes, I'll set up  thread a bit later probably... hahahaa I like b)! Arrest her and drag her to the Citadel kicking and screaming!!! (okay not literally) but yes...I can see a lot of temper flaring >:D

I believe I haven't met Arinth yet. Heard a lot of him though *nod*

 

Also, I may have recruited two new Bander players...we shall see in a bit :P

We don't get nearly enough people around here, and now even Arinth and Yriel and JA Powell seem to have disappeared.    :(

So Quibbs do you have a officer character or something? I've been thinking about meeting an officer to "sign up" for the Band when Miri reaches the Citadel, just an idea yet if you wanna jump in sometime. If not, all good too :P just is you have time and want to :happy:

I'm trying to make a whole bunch of officer characters as we... err... type.  Kinda hung up on a few details, though, so they're taking longer than expected.  I should have a few ready to go in the next week or so (hopefully).  My character is only a corporal, and that's an honorary rank.  Need to make another character to actually run through the ranks.

well maybe we've still got this RP going then, dunno. It'll work fine without an officer or something anyway, I was going to make Miri be all obnoxiously noble-ish and demand to see a person of rank. Thereby starting her journey of gaining some humility when she's put with th rest of the recruits. Or something like that

 

Anyway, just one quick question - where exactly is the Citadel? In the Band info thing it says it's "on the outskirts of the Mountains of Mist near Emond’s Field" ...but the The Citadel RP board is on the West (RP) board..... so somewhere in Amadicia? :unsure: I just need to know the country, because I wanna know where my character is right now :tongue:

The Citadel is in the Two Rivers region.  There were plans at one time to make it the capitol of a revived Manetheren with an Aes Sedai queen, but they fell through.

Hmmm k, confused me a bit because of the board's location, shouldn't that be amongst Andor and stuff then? Eh ne'ermind. Reply coming up BB! :)

There used to be a map of the board layout, showing where each country/region was in relation to the boards.
