On my way to the shower this morning I suddenly thought of this topic and even started putting a list together in my head.  Now as Tress will tell you Im an oldtimer around these parts  i joined in 04.

 

the list so far

 

1  You think anyone who does not remember DM version 6 is a newbie

 

2   You have had your post count wiped at least once

 

3  You get picked on by certain lighties in the Newbies board for calling them Social ORGS  (and yes they are ORGS!!)

 

4  You cant remember what your first sig looked like

 

5  you remember people from a while back who have left in a fond "old person remembering their youth" kind of way

 

6  you remember Orgs that people now dont even know existed!

 

7 You remember when the Wolfkin and the BT started

I've not been here nearly as long as some, but still when I look back to the Black Tower when I first got here, it is so very different.

 

A lot has changed.

I'm like a newborn baby compared to the rest of you.

When i first joined i joined the Band and the ogier  i dont think the BT was even there!  or the wolfies either

I don't think I can be called an oldie. In the welcome thread at Wolfkin, I was called an oldie which I think is strange. I have been on DM for around three years(thrid year completes on 26 february, that day is my parents marriage anniversary so I remember the date . I remember the time when I got scared by BT so much that it took me two years before someone managed to convince me to join. I remember the time when Graymen Tasks at Shayol Ghul used to scare me. I remember the time when Kin was more active.

 

I remember when Siggy Playground was Siggy auction(where I got my first siggy)

 

And trying to find this reminded me of the time when every post in a conversation via PM was like different conversation now.

 

Number which you think apply. In comparison to oldies, I think I would be a child or teenager.
