I have that copy of TofM sitting on my shelf right now. It's the fake AMOL we were messing around with at Dragon*Con this year. We're going to auction it off for charity at the next JordanCon.

Unfortunately Sam Wellers is sold out; they do 700 signed preorders. Best to just track him down in person if you can.

 

As for showing Goodkind my TOM...lol. I went on this rant about Goodkind the other day and when I was about to post it on Facebook it occurred to me to attach that photo. So I did, and I tagged Brandon, and Peter came along a few hours later and untagged him.   Brandon should know better than to write something in my book that he doesn't want plastered all over the internet...

Actually, I think Brandon said that he would sign anything mailed to him (so, SLC, is it?) as long as you include proper postage for the return mail. Tweet @PeterAhlstrom about it, I'm sure he could confirm/deny.

I am amused by Brandon's handwriting. My dad writes in a combination of capital and lower-case letters, but he's at least consistent. Like, he always uses a capital A, but Brandon basically wrote:

I get the impression that he tries to use block letters to make his handwriting more readable, but he sometimes gets lazy.

Goodkind would never see that.  He is too busy writing important books containing "important human themes"  to know  what "deathchoosers" do on the internet.

I'm guessing Peter was more worried about Brandon's fans who are also Goodkind fans. There was some controversy over his Vin vs Zedd cagematch write-up...
