Hello sorry if this is in the wrong section,

 

Is Australia getting amol in book stores on the 8th of january too since we are like 16 hours ahead of america and europe? I want to be able to buy the book on the day cause im going overseas on the 11th so i want to have it finished before i leave. All the Book stores around my area seem to have closed down and i normally buy my books online. Am i better off ordering online and hope it gets to me or is there still major book stores around the sydney area that would stock it on the day?

Yes, Australians generally get the book before we do, even though we have a couple of midnight releases. (Utah, NYC). Midnight Utah time is 6pm in Sydney, and midnight NYC time is 4pm for you guys. Horribly unfair, but there it is.

Spoke to Orbit last week. They'll be sending the book out on the day of the release due to the embargo. Means the earliest it will be seen in stores is at 11am, and likely not till around 2pm.

yeah i am hoping to drop by Dymocks around 12pm on my break :p
