Still recovering from long trip before Christmas and belated Christmas. nice to be home and have some days off from work.

Just gonna sit back and watch some american football. Probably not going out or anything. Too many drunks out there on New Year's Eve. Nice relaxing day will be good. Reflect on the previous year think about the future and hopefully the good that will come.

New Year's Eve is good for going out if you go home well before the partying really starts. The last few years I've gone out to the local watering hole early, got smashed, enjoyed myself, and was home by 9 PM. A side benefit is being able to fall asleep despite all the idiots in my neighborhood partying as noisily as possible.

I´m going to my bf on New Years Eve. It will just be us, our daughter and my father-in-law. There will be food and fireworks. For some reason I promised our teenager that she could have a party in my apartment. Hm... What was I thinking? She says that there will only be a few friends. I hope so. :D
