i've read a lot of RJ's interviews where he talks about his inspirations for various aspects of the series (ie, characters, cities, cultures, sword forms, etc). one thing i have not seen him talk about is where he got the idea for the oneness and the one power. are these things he made up completely himself? or are they things he borrowed and tweaked to make them his own?

 

are there any links to interviews i might have missed where he discusses this?
