I'm trying to collect the wheel of time in hardback and twice I've ordered the eye of the world and once the dragon reborn and got silly midget hardbacks. I guess they are the bookclub editions. Does anyone have a surefire way to make sure the next time I order one of these I get the full size hardback?

Buy them in person. Like in a store with human beings, not on the Internet. Only sure fire way.

Yeah did that with the Eye of the World. I ordered the 1993 hard back edition of the Dragon Reborn through the store though they had the wrong picture. I hope its the right edition.

I want to do this as well. I look forward to having the whole set in HC one day (although EOTW seems hard to come by at a reasonable price). I was in bookselling for 20 years: when buying "blind" always email the seller first & ask for specifics, make sure you're getting what you think you're paying for. That usually works :)
