Half of my life

Featured Replies

So it is currently just after midnight on the 7th where I live and I realize that tomorrow the book comes out. At the age of 27 I have been waiting for this moment for half of my life. It seems like only yesterday I was reading The Eye of the World for the first time. It was an incredibly hot summer and I locked myself in my room going through book after book. Taking them out from the local library because I couldn't afford to buy them. Wheel of Time came to me at a difficult time in my life and really helped me out. It has been a constant companion ever since. I've read the books many times since then usually going through the entire series once a year. It is hard to believe it will soon be over. The moment I have been waiting for for so long. I know no matter what the ending is I will be thrilled to see it.

Probably haven't seen it since it was a fairly recent update, but to avoid having dozens of threads like this created and cluttering up the boards, there are two threads dedicated to "pre-aMoL reading thoughts".

In the General WoT Discussion here:  http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/78366-just-wrapping-up-my-re-read-and-a-few-regrets/http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/78366-just-wrapping-up-my-re-read-and-a-few-regrets/

IN the aMoL pre-release spoilers: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/78367-happy-reading/

So this thread is locked.
