Burnout/Severing

Please explain to me where you have found proof that something can grow back. I really doubt that Nynaeve is wrong here, she`s one of the best healers alive. Even if she doesn`t know how something is done, she always knows if something can be done.

Did she say that it cannot be done? She only said that she can't do anything.

So you mean that Nynaeve just didn`t bother to try? Nynaeve wish to heal every wound, had it been possible to make his hand grow back, she would have tried. That Nynaeve says that she can`t do anything, just means that there`s no way to bring his hand back.

Where did I say that Nynaeve didn't bother to try?

I said she can't. And she can't, that's the truth. That doesn't mean it can't be done.

Just because no one can jump over 2.6m now doesn't mean that it is impossible.

Tell me, why can't you use the One Power and turn all the cells at the stump into stem cells and instruct them to form a hand?

Yeah, give me a reason, other than the fact that they don't know about stem cells.

Nynaeve, perhaps the best healer in the world, along with Semirhage, Sumeko(the Kin) and Flinn, can`t do it. This indicates that it can`t be done. Since there has not been anything that indicates that it is possible, I take it that it is in fact impossible, and unless RJ says something else, or write something else, I`ll consider it one of those things that can`t be done, like lifting yourself with the Power, or healing yourself.

And about healing yourself, I was wondering, is it possible to create a healing ter an'greal?

And then can you use the healing ter an'greal on yourself?

It could be possible to make a ter`angreal that heals, but then it would be the ter`angreal that healed you, not yourself. Anyway, I don`t think we`ll ever see a terangreal like that.

Healing weaves are different depending on the condition of the hurt. A headache would require a different weave than a broken arm. I suppose a ter'angreal could be made for some of the more basic, general ills, but not for much else.

I bet the Bowl of Wind could be used to generate all sorts of effects in the weather. Why can't a healing ter an'greal be used for all sorts of illnesses?

The Bowl of Winds only increase the influence the channeler(s) have over the weather, they still have to weave the different weaves. I agree with rd2000, but doubt there will be a ter`angreal that heals in the books.

Why can't a healing ter an'greal be used for all sorts of illnesses?

There is a difference between an illness, and then having your hand blown off.

Where did I say that you use it to heal your hand?

The ter an'greal was a complete different topic.

I started talking about it with "about healing yourself". Nothing to do with the hand at all. Read EXACTLY what I write, not whatever my words might mean to you.

lol, We are not in your head Thor. We have to take what you type, and attempt to interpret it. If that interpretation differs from yours, is that our fault, or yours? If there is someone in your household who also reads and enjoys WOT, let them read your posts and everyone's replies. You might be surprised by their summation of your posts.

I find it thoroughly ironic that you take offense at what some have replied. Many here don't understand where you come up with much of what you post. I enjoy your posts and ideas, nonetheless.

Well since the whole talk of healing ter'angreals came about because you thik rands hand can be healed.. I thought you were trying to say that a healing ter'angreal could do that.... If that's not what you are saying the I apologize. Rand's hand still can't be cured. It's gone.
