I handed in a research paper which contained next to no evidence of actual research, which was below the minimum word count and I got a B. I'm in the top ranking uni in Wales btw.

 

I am honestly astounded. Can anyone hazard a guess as to how this happened?

do you usually do that? if not, the teacher probably just assumed you did the proper research

No, he clearly noted that I didn't do the research. and I got a really low mark for that segment of the assessmant. I got two As and a B for the other parts of the assesment.

 

and no, I'm at the University of Wales, Newport. It's one of the higher ranking ones, I know that. All the best students I knew were clamouring to get into it

Ah yes ... It is like a collegeate system there. So Cardiff would be The University of Wales - Cardiff.

 

I got bumped up from a 2.2 to a 2.1 thanks to a dissertation I finished at 8am on the morning I was due to hand it in - and in fact - had to hitch a ride on the Office Supplies van to even get it to uni on time.

 

Sometimes things just work out - it's best not to think too hard about it :)

I only went to Uni cos I didn't want to get a job.

In NZ we have a good welfare system (too good. You can stay on it for years) and student loans are interest free

Yea. Its not fair. Now NZ charities are askinbg for money to help those peoples kids because they just spend the money on booze and drugs. Atleast give them food stamps so they cant not spent it on food
