This is the place to give each silly nicknames. Yup a blank check  . The only thing is the nicknames stay in the kin unless given permission by the person whose nickname it is.

So, i start

Name: Panchi (also Pankhuri)

Nicknames: Pank, Pan, Pankh, Panch, Panchi

Nickname Prefered: Pank

Strangest Nickname: spank

feel free to give me new nicknames...

hahahaha

I'm just Lor. Some people try U4, but it really doesn't make any sense like that... *shrugs* Naming other people, though... *grins*

I'm liking these blank checks, people!

(pank is too close to pink, which I can't stand the sight of. Sorry, dear!)

other options:

Pancake

Chi-chi

Little bird

Tweets

Feathers

I hate pink too. Then someone first pointed out pank is close to pink, he should be happy he is still alive and not being called a hen.

Interesting nicknames....ooooh little bird  . Panchi literally means bird.

Spanki *nostalgic*

poncho...interesting

I've had a few nicknames. Though they are mostly ones that I picked myself or were coined late, as I spent a lot of my life insisting on my full name being used. (Partially because people ALWAYS misspelled it, so it was a rather sensitive subject, and teachers would shorten it to be 'friendly'...when they were always the teachers I was least fond of...or most afraid of). Shortened forms of my real name (or pet name versions) have always been discouraged. I don't like them, and I refuse to answer to names people try and pin on me that I don't like or don't feel fit me.

That said, most of mine are internet monickers I chose for myself, or family nicknames.

My father's favorite nickname for me as a child was MacGuffin. (Which is part of why it is my last name in the SCA. ) And yes, my family knows what it means (in the film sense).

I am NutMeg. (My best friend in high school was Cynamin. My Dad dubbed us with that particular pairing.

I have also been: Convoluted and LadyWordsmith (both chosen by me, shortened by others at times online. Lady is the shortened since I am ConvolutedWordsmith elsewhere, and some places that was too long a name to sign up with and get approved.)

And between my brother and I we are often bro/sis brother/sister and 'dude.' Depending on who is talking. And he occasionally calls me Onesan (Japanese for Big Sister). We even occasionally toss the word 'sibling' in there as a form of address just between us. It's a game we play. He's six years younger than me, and we both like Anime as well as Fantasy, Science Fiction, many other genres. We're very close despite the age difference.

I think that's most of them.

ON here mos peple jus call me tal. baerly hear wild or taltos. In rel lief Ive got lot of not so niec nicknames lol. Mos polite Ive had is Eo/Eogh, whch is shorten from my name.

Apparently I'm Harry *points at avi*

Yes, yes you are. Thanks for not fighting this...Lol

In RL I don't have many nicknames. Some neighbours call me Pankhu but most people stick to Pankhuri. Some of my friends keep coming up with short lived nicknames like Calender, Catalogue, etc.

On DM, I go by Hiarth (silent h, arth) or Beorn (like Bjorn or Beorn) but some people have just simplified it altogether and started calling me H. Cyan refers to me as The Nutmeg Personage and I think it's synonymous with Snake Oil Salesman.

In the SCA, I am Florik Merska, a 14th century Finn. On livejournal, I blogged as loaswearargyle and was known as The Loa. Also blogged under other monikers like needlegrass, Scheimpflug Sain and The Argonaut.

After I accidentally joined a cult (true story) I went by Rian for a few years. My real name is Ryan and I still respond to either.

I also respond to Shithead. ;;>_>

Considering that I am a hatchet faced nutmeg dealer, it leaves you in a precarious situation, Ms. Nutmeg.

*bullhorn auction* How many camels for the fine young woman, folks? Do I see three? Three? I see four, four, going going FIVE CAMELS I HAVE FIVE CAMELS OFFERED FOR LADY WORDSMITH. Can I get six camels? Six camels?

Keep it under control here; I'm trying to run an auction.

We're six camels, folks. Six camels, six camels. I'm feeling generous today - I'm including this rare Vuvuzela of Valere, made of the rarest Tar Valon unobtanium. This is a genuine ter'angreal. Gen. Ewe. Wine! Six camels for the Lady Wordsmith and the Vuvuzela of Valere.

Is that? Why, bless the Light. Six camels and a hissing komodo dragon. We've got ourselves a fine pearl to bid on tonight. Six camels and a hissing komodo for Lady Wordsmith and the Vuvuzela of Valere, here at Hiarth's Nutmeg Haberdashery!
