Singleplayer story sucks, its Battlefield, not Bad Company.

Multiplayer: Exactly what you expect from a battle field game.

New shit, like flash lights, and lasers that actually blind you and are actualy a large gameplay mechanic in multiplayer, and sprinkle in a few new ways to gain 'points', like laying out suppressive fire actually gives you points AND does something to the enemey besides force them to hide behind cover.

is the game long? and is there an option for 3rd person view? and is there a co-op for story mode?

Single player campeign is short, you can probalbly finish it in 6 hours max.

BF series has always been an Online Game, never a Campeign. (Bad Company is the exception here)

No 3rd pesron, except when in tanks/vehicles if you want to play that way.

 

there is an online-co-op but its different from the singleplayer. (Escentially, same/similiar maps, but the story's different/gone so your escentially just plowing through them for points to unlock co-op weapons for use in regular multi-player.)
