New Peer Training System

Featured Replies

In the past, we always relied on the availability of mentors to help our trainees and tower guards to increase their WS. However, due to the low activity levels here, that will be like climbing Mt. Kilmanjaro during a massive winter snowstorm.

So, after discussing with Visar and hashing out ideas, we came up with this. I'd really appreciate your feedback before we make it official. Once we get more members and activity kicks up, we can tweak the system or go back to the mentor/mentee system.

So! Without further ado.....

The New Peer Training System

Active players are encouraged to respond to RP requests for training on the Warders RPG OOC board. Instead of one person overseeing a trainee’s WS advancement, we all can take turns.

The only requirement is that your WS needs to be higher than the person you are training. If you are training someone who has a WS of 3, your WS must be 4 or higher. If the trainee wants to do a RP that you are not familiar or comfortable with, help them to find interested participants.

Once activity picks up and we get more players, we will develop the training program to ensure that all newcomers and returnees have the opportunity to RP with their brothers and sisters.

If you find yourself stalled with a training requirement without help or someone went AWOL/MIA in the middle of the thread, PM the RGL and we’ll jump in and help you complete your training requirement either by getting others involved or participating ourselves.

Sounds good, I have 2 warders with nothing to do so if anyone needs training I'm game.
