No St. Patrick's Day parade where you live?

I'd love to go to ours, but with Tadpole in diapers, it's not practical. :-(

Sure! We had ours yesterday because St. Patrick's Day fell on Sunday this year. It's a public holiday in Savannah, so the city closes down until after 1 the day of the parade and they even closer the schools when it falls on a weekday. Another reason why I love this city!

*Grins* That's awesome! I've never actually been to a St. Patrick's Day Parade. (Though I've been to St. Pat's Cathedral in New York, which is amazing.) I'm not sure if we had them locally when I was a kid. Getting 'local' news about your town in the DC Metro is a little harder. All the newspapers ever wanted to talk about was politics.
