Sound like it comes from Victory to me. Queen Victoria was the first person in the UK to be given the name.

I don't know exactly where the name came from, but because the first time I saw it was Scotland, I'm going to guess it came from Scotland. It means dark warrior.

That's a hard one. I haven't really heard that name used. I did see it was from old english, but it was a surname before it was a first name, and could be to do with where people lived (South Kelsey - Lincoln), but it says it could mean Victorious ship...or another one fierce Island...not sure which I would prefer...haha
