I expect this to be an exciting month for me but time will tell. Too many things on my to do list to be able to tell yet. I should have more news soon though.

Well the picture I posted is full of dogwoods. Which I love and really wish they grew better here in Oklahoma. We have them, but they're harder to grow because they don't like wind.

The one in my front yard growing up was fifty years old, huge (for a dogwood) gnarled, twisted, and absolutely gorgeous. It was a red (pink) dogwood too. The blossoms took up about half of what you saw outside my window.

So yesterday, being April first, was 'fun' at work. All the first graders kept trying to pull April Fool's jokes. I think the thing that annoys me about this, is that everyone has basically devolved into lying about something to make people look somewhere. That's not a joke or a prank. (The good 'prank' was the other teacher who moved our 'occupied' sign from up by the door handle to down near the floor on the other side of the door frame while we were doing 'bathroom break and change' with our SPED kids who still need help).

The pictuers i post were sprinng gentians - thye usuly strt flowering now and in may aruond the hills and shore at home. Theyy maek an excelent decoration for Bealtaine crowns, on May 1, which we believ is th only permisable day to pick them withuot breakin geis.

In othre news, later ths month my third cycle will be endin and thenn I will be able to kniw whethre I am ready for surgery finaly or I have to do anothre roundd of chemo and raditiion. Lol hopin for surgery, as straneg as it may suond.

Harry! You changed your avatar! How is anyone going to understand my nicknames, now? :( *smirks*

Three cycles, Taltos? I'll be hoping for surgery, too!

I love Dogwoods, Lady! We have festivals around the blooming of the Dogwoods around here! I love it when the Gardenias bloom, too, but that'll be next month, when the azaleas have all done their blooming. :)

You're not old enough for a 23 year old kid, Ryrin!

I hope the things are exciting, Neeto! Busy months are only good if they are fun! :)

JordanCon is 18 days away! *screams in fear*

I have so much to do! *sobs*

Lor - If I had located a photo of my childhood yard I'd have posted that. Dogwoods, azaleas, impatiens.... my mother is a gardening fiend.

I get to see you, too, Harry!?! THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!! *dances*

and yes, you do, Kynwric. As do I. *sighs* Reading and sewing...

I did get my brooch finished today and got a good start on my hat, though! I have two shawls to make and I think I'll be done with the sewing. Still need to order goggles and pick up my tool belt, though. *chews her lip*

Ryrin, my grandmother was a gardener and I get it from her. My mom is, too! I love my garden and I'm very glad that I'm having time to work on it this year! :) I even have two strawberries popping up on my bush!

Mmm strawberries! We had a strawberry patch when I was a child. Our dog liked to nap in it. Fortunately, he usually managed not to squish anything.

I'd love to see how your costume turns out, Lor! Particularly the accessories. I've never actually made a brooch. Sounds awesome!

I'll upload the pics somewhere other than my Facebook account so you can see 'em, Lady. :) The brooch looks pretty awesome, I must admit... hehehehe

I'm bringing an Edwardian top hat that I have steam punked, so fedora works, too! :)

Well, I'll be keeping my hopes up for you, Taltos! Sounds like you could use a break!

In mild randomness, apparently March was only pretending to be over here, or it's sharing with April. Tonight: thunderstorms, wind, maybe hail, 75% chance of tornadoes  Overnight: rain and likely ice, with snow in the Oklahoma panhandle). Then clearing out tomorrow for sunny but cold.

Yes, Harry. :) I missed him! hehehehe

That's some crazy weather, Lady! It's in the mid-70's here. I LOVE IT! Of course, you have to throw in that my AC in my class room is hit and miss these days... *sighs*

Yep! Very crazy. Currently looking at icy rain on my drive to work. Spring just won't come! (Wait. We've heard this before. It happened in The Eye of the World. Quick, let's find the Green Man!)

Yes, I am. I'm actually staff of the Con. I run the potpourri track! :-)

I grew two strawberries on my strawberry plant! I have them to my husband and peanut... neither liked them!
