Extraversion (E) - Introversion (I): The extraversion-introversion dichotomy was first explored by Jung in his theory of personality types as a way to describe how people respond and interact with the world around them. While these terms are familiar to most people, the way in which they are used here differs somewhat from their popular usage.

Extraverts are "outward-turning" and tend to be action-oriented, enjoy more frequent social interaction and feel energized after spending time with other people.

Introverts are "inward-turning" and tend to be thought-oriented, enjoy deep and meaningful social interactions and feel recharged after spending time alone.

Other people means actual real other people - like in the same room and space I think? Not my cup of tea hence Internet Forum.

I'm INTP as well. Have no worries, Tsukibana. On the internets, we reign supreme. :baalzamon:

But I have no idea what's going on with INFJ's. You're supposed to be one of the rarest types, and yet you seem to make up almost a third of the BT's population. What gives!?

It's interesting. You have to make an analysis.

the multi-phasic?? probably somewhere.

  • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
  • You have strong preference of Intuition over Sensing (81%)
  • You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
  • You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (44%)

Yes, indeed!  This could be an interesting population to sample...  as you are among the top brass of DM, do you know of any other MBTI surveys that have been conducted at other SGs, or leaders with an interest in type theory?  We could run a survey at each of the SGs and see if they have similar trends.
