All of them should have been the real river. Not sure about the river in the finally though.

That was the most amazingly confusing episode yet, I think.

Yeah, but I assume that that's the episode with Donna. River Song lived... unless they go there later in her life.

Means that you never know when it's a "real" river and just a creek!! (hah!!)

I know there's one where he saves her from the giant fire-lava-demon thing. (the one where it thinks its a god, and he says it isn't...)

Don't believe she 'died' there. But rather in the Library. I think the first time, they go there, someone else dies. The second time, she does. (or it could be the first time we see her, she dies there, and the 2nd time, she's alive but its her first time there, not her last.  lol)

In Silence of the Library/Forest of the Dead (the two parter set in the library), several people die, including River, but they have their conciousness saved. She's still dead though.

If what you're thinking of is the Impossible Planet/the Satan Pit (the one where they are on a planet orbiting a black hole, and meet the devil), River wasn't in that one.

Some reason, I recall river going there to that pit with him, and she having to lower him down, while his companion and others flee.

That wasn't River. That was a lady from the station.
