Guess the Great!

Month of the Greats

Welcome to the Month of the Greats! In this event, we'll be discussing Greats and playing games about Greats, even discussing what makes someone a Great. In this game, one of the two moderators will give you a vague hint about someone considered a Great in their field, and it's up to you to guess which Great it is. It's fairly self-explanatory.

Here are the rules:

1. One guess per person per hint. Even if you know which Great it is after you've taken your first guess on the hint, you must wait until the next hint is given! (The only hint where this does not apply is the fifth one.)

2. Five guesses in total per hint. After five guesses have been made unsuccessfully on one hint, we will move to the next one.

3. Five hints in total per Great. After five hints have not yielded a correct guess, a moderator will then come in and move us on to the next Great.

4. Please give guesses in a blue color font.

5. An incorrect guess will give a player 1 point. A correct guess will be worth 3.

6. Behave and have fun! Remember, this is just a game! :)

I will count that toward your point count, but I'm going to have to put a stop to the game.  There's supposed to be a discussion and a game every week, and there was a misunderstanding as to who posted what when.  >.>

 

So, when we officially start the game next week...you'll be three points ahead!
