That's what confuses me. Does one become the other by upgrading it or is each animal angreal a separate angrael that can be upgraded for different amounts?

They are all separate. But you can trade in an existing Angreal in part exchange for a new one.

So to buy your very first one it would cost:

10 Points for a Turtle

30 Points for a Snake

70 Points for a Fox

130 Points for a Hawk

200 Points for a Wolf

If you buy a cheaper, less powerful Angreal and wish to upgrade it at a later date - you can effectively sell it back to the BT at the same price you paid for it and use those points towards your new one.

Does that make sense?

That does. Are these the type that affect all levels or are they the ones where I need to pick specific elements.

Thanks

Well, I have a bone to pick with Chuckles.

Can I light him on fire then?

You can do that if you want - but you won't successfully complete the Task.

Well you said pick someone but didn't get around to picking the task.

I'm happy this will be a Hot Thread for you

Ok ... look at my Levels.

On the Left hand side are my basic Levels without my Angreals and on the right are my Levels with Angreals.

Angreals will increase your Levels by the amount listed next to them - up to a maximum of 50% of your current Level.

So a Wolf Angreal increases your Levels by up to 10 - but if you only have a basic Level of 12, the most you will get out of it is an increase of 6 Levels.

So there is no point buying a more powerful Angreal until your Levels make it worth while.

Do you want to read the Task again maybe?

lol

I bet Tsuki would have chosen a Target by now.

:goads:

That was low. Even for you.

I don't get you. I pick someone weaker, you call me out. I pick someone around my level, you say I'll lose.

You said I need to betray someone, don't get the rest...

This is about you learning. Not about me telling you what to do.

I need to know you are ready to go out into the wide Shadowy world all on your own.

You insult me Mistress.

I have proven my prowress time and time again. If I must betray one of the Shadow to please our Lord, then I will.

Say what must be done and by my own hand it shall.

Betray someone higher than you?

How about you betray your Mistress and don't complete the task?

But... But..

I  her...

But perhaps this is for the best.

Mistress, I will always (usually, sometimes, ok maybe) respect you, but as an Asha'man I am my own man now. I answer to no one but the Dark Lord and the M'Hael. And while you hold great power, you are an adversary as you are a friend.

But it is time I take my leave and accomplish great things under my own name. I hope we forever meet on the same side of the battlefield. It would be a great shame to have to defeat you :baalzamon: . Thank you for your  tutelage and guidance. I will make your proud, but foremost I will make myself proud. You have my word.

Well ...

Mumble mumble fake stage whisper etc ... I'm really not supposed to hint, and I know it doesn't seem like it at times, but I'm not technically in charge of the Shadow ....

Erm No. I definitely will NOT aid you in this. Stop being such a wuss and grow a Shadowy Backbone.

Well you said pick someone but didn't get around to picking the task.

And be quick about it. I have lots of those  s to balefire you for. Once your protection expires that is.

Maybe a "friar tuck" also...
