Disney Month: W3- The MUSIC of Disney

Featured Replies

This is such a broad reaching topic that I had to visit my friend "Wikipedia" for a decent list. Here's their link.

The music is such a big part of what makes a Disney movie what it is, no matter whether it's a cartoon or a live action movie! I, myself, have Lemonade Mouth in my CD player in my truck because Peanut is addicted to it (and I admit, I know every word to every song and have no problem singing along!).

My favorite is this one from, of course, The Little Mermaid (yes, I have that album, too! :P)

So, what about you?

Disney music is what goes around in my head when I study too hard  .

I love the songs which go in the background though I admit I don't say attention to them. I was watching Phineas and Ferb and I love their songs.

Lion king has some of the best music imo

it also marks a change in disney as for that film they hired broadway composers and lyricists. It shoes in the music and gives the story a more cohesive and better oaced feel

the songs vecome a story telling device rather than just a song
