ick! I hate the Flu! I hope you're feeling better soon!!

I have been very busy since my son got home from college. Between him and my daughter they have been running me to death.

LOL, I think that's a kid's job, Nic! Mine do that, too!

And yes, Ryrin, to answer your question, I used to be the MoN for the Tower. I was the MoN for about 6 years, actually. LOL It's a quick burnout of a job, because it's very demanding. I enjoyed it until it became more work than play. When I started dreading it, I knew it was time to stop...

I think Ryr should apply for MoN. I think she would be awesome at it.

I've survived the first two days of Cub Camp so far! The first day I had no one to help, so it was just me wrangling 9 upcoming-3rd graders. Today was better. I had a parent helper. Both days were great though.

Very proud of my son. He baited a hook with a worm (they required him to split the worm himself), and he did it. I promised him he'd never have to do that again. ;) And he used their compound bows for archery even though he finds them more difficult than the recurves he is used to shooting. He had a lot of trouble with them last november and didn't want to do Scout archery anymore, but he tried again (and he's stronger now) and that worked fine. :)

I'd apply to be MoN but I'm a warder, they can't be MoNs :O

but on a serious note I've been very busy with my internship so no time to write my novels

I put feelers out to start my Masters in the Fall... I think I can get it done pretty quickly, since I already have about 1/4 of the classes finished.

Here's hoping things go smoothly....

I survived the last day of school!!! *dances* I did it without a tear, too!

Now, I have three days of post planning and I'm home free for the summer! All 7 weeks of it! For the first time in YEARS I don't have a weekly plan of what needs to happen already in place! I have no idea what I'm doing this summer...

I hate unpacking almost more than I hate packing! I feel for ya, Heart!

Yay, Lor! Feels so good when the year is out doesn't it?

I am sure you'll find tons of fun things to do this summer!

Yes, it does! Now I have a few weeks to myself. I get to spend two weeks cleaning my house, but I'll do it smiling because we're upgrading our security system and getting or new Sleep Number bed on the other side of my clean house!

Getting over the flu.

me too!!! it's horrible. the worst of it is over but i can still feel it...

I hate the flu! It doesn't ever seem to go away! I hope you're both feeling better and drinking lots of hot tea!!!
