al Lan Mandragoran knows of a weakness sincehe killed a Darkhound. (TDR Easing the Badger). From what Moiraine said in (TDR Hunted it appears that gaidin know this secret as well which means Elyas should know about their vulnarability.

 

This might be one reason for Wolfbrothers reappearing. Perrin and Elyas can communicate that weakness to the Wolves and it could also be a justification for wolves to be present during Tarmon Gaidon.

I don't remember anyone shooting a darkhound with a bow, but I'm pretty sure Rand shoots a Grolm or three in one of those twisted realities.

the hundredpacks of shadow hounds that hunt the night

?? Doesn't someone shoot a darkhound once with a bow??

Maybe not,

Yeah Perrin does in TDR but the darkhound comes back like they would with any other weapon
