Technically I've been here before, but it was a different account that I can't really access anymore, from years ago.

 

Started reading the books back in 2003 or so, I think, got introduced to them by a friend when we were hanging out one day, borrowed Eye of the World from him, then got hooked. I've fallen a bit away from the series more recently (I suppose the height of my "fannish interest" in the series was in the '04-'08 range), but thinking about doing another re-read this year--including properly reading through A Memory of Light from first page to last, since to be frank when I read it on release I 'cheated' by skipping around a bunch--and am simply interested in checking back in to see how this section of the fandom's been doing in the last couple years of my 'absence'.
