77 year drought over

Featured Replies

Hah did Andy Murray finally win Wimbledon? I'm happy to hear that :) I always get the feeling that he gets really close to winning a championship, but then he gets outplayed in the semi-finals or finals and ends up being 3th or 4th. He has a lot of potential, but it's just never enough. Congrats to Andy Murray indeed.

I can't believe that he managed to beat Djokovic 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 O.o I'm a little sad that I have missed the game..

I didn't even get to see it. I was getting second hand updates from Turin, who was watching it - and then I heard cheering and clapping from my window so I knew that he had won.

Well done him. I would have liked to have seen the moment he won though. I guess I will have to try find a clip somewhere

I stopped watching tennis when Stefan Edberg quitted. But congratulations to mr Someone.

You do realise I didn't click on this because I thought it was just about the weather again lol

Yeah me too.

I was going to start a thread I love Winter then I thought there's too many talk of the weather already.

I really love Winter in the subtropic though. So beautiful today...If I was a cat I would rub against today and puurrrr...

I just figured that it would be easier then to derail the thread once everyone that wished to had come in to give Mr. Someone Murray his congratulations.

I live in the desert so I  am all for the ending of droughts.

I am happy as long as Roger Federer doesn't win Wimbledon. My brother is as obsessed with him as we are with WoT.

Congrats Mooray! (its funny when you say it like this)

I still think it was just the neighbour's sprinklers that came on early.

Which I have to say is REALLY irresponsible in a place that is basically a desert and ridiculously short of water. Wasting it to keep grass green is just silly.
