Tiink and Ley are bothe towne.

Ley isn't going to be tons of help though.

@Mod, I voted maw. Please update your VC to accurately reflect that I was indeed the first vote.

You never voted Maw. To count, votes must be in red AND bold.

Cloud playing the "I'm gonna look town by giving good advice role."

VOTE CLOUD.

I'm seeing Cloud in that sniper role.  Taking shots from the distance.  Trying to not saying anything real suspicious.

There is also and interesting dynamic going on between Ithi and Turin.  1 of them is scum imo.

Normally I'd agree flat out and be on that. But, it seems as if this type of "helpful" play is becoming extremely common with a few people so I'm questioning it. I think we have bigger fish to fry in Turin.

I voted him. Red is stupid. Mod can accept it as bold or waste time. It's a bad rule on DM.

Not true. As a mod of Games where the majority of my modding is done on mobile version - I would easily miss votes were they not done as Red and Bold so that they stood out.

I don't need to read you big cases and WoTs when I'm modding. I'm counting votes. It's something we do because we like people to have fun Games to play. I don't always have time to read every little bit that everyone writes - where sometimes they may bold something for emphasis.

You should show a little courtesy for the requirements this Mod has asked from his players.

We may agree to disagree, but I do not intend to vote Red unless I absolutely must and it is irrelevant to you playing the game so get off it.

Also @Ithi, you don't read your games..?

i read them as they go along - but when im doing vote counts I reread and skim really quick . I need bold red. I don't want to make mistakes.

I will say this now - the mod of this game has stated quite clearly in HIS rules that he wants votes to be bold red. therefore that is how you should vote. unless you think you shouldn't have to play by the rules?

Darthe seriously what is your point with this? The rules were there when you signed up. You are playing in Despo's game and by his rules. Make a thread about this if you want but while you are in here do what you need to if you want your vote to count, or it won't. Despo doesn't owe you anything and neither does anyone else in this game. Deal with it.

Darthe, I'm going to say this one last time. You are NOT more special than everyone else. If everyone else can manage with bolding AND redding their votes, then you can as well. Incidentally, it's not up to you to say what rules you feel are unnecessary or bad. I put the rules up in the signups. If you had a problem with them then, you could have either not signed up or asked for clarification then. Not liking this little rebel streak from you at all. What point are you trying to make?

And as Ithi already pointed out, it IS helpful when doing VC's. It's much easier to skim for THIS then THIS.

So yeah, comply or ask for a replacement. Don't tempt the mod, and it would be nice if you did try and show respect for the game and the rules I set up, I don't feel they're too draconian to follow by any measure.

Probably could have settled that by pm, oh well. Vote Count coming in a sec. I'll try n fix the order from what I remember.

Official Vote Count:

With 19 alive, 10 votes are needed for a lynch

Ley: Maw, Turin, Basel, Dice, RTE, Mish (6)

Maw: Ithi, Cloud, Ley (3)

Turin: Tink, Wombat (2)

Ed: Darthe, Yates (2)

Darthe: Hallia (1)

Berf: Ed (1)

Cloud: Peace (1)

Not Voting: Berf, Rorschach (Pralaya), BG (4)

Day 1 deadline here

Looks like the order was already correct in the last few VC's regarding your vote Ithi... but let me know if I messed anything up yall.

According to the rules, you didn't vote him.  You're the one wasting time.

Darthe purposefully taking the discussion of the game away from scum hunting.  Noted.

Scum so far:

Cloud

Darthe

Ley maybe

Ithi/turin..one of the two.

No, Yates, I said, that I wanted to wait for a reply, to see if he had good reason for the actions he took. However, the reply didn't came. The vote, is for the ACTIONS, not the lack of explanation in time.

Wombat, I indeed agree enough with them to vote Maw. But the difference between making sense and agreeing with, I'd say, is that making sense is like "yeah, good point", and agreeing with is "I thought that too". If that's clear...

Alright, so what you're saying is that you're comfortable with sheeping Ithi's arguments but not with being held accountable for doing so.  That is pretty scummy in general, but in this case, I find it particularly so:

As one of Ithi's main points on Maw is the 3rd party thing, I find you sheeping it to be inconsistent with your past town play.

unvote

Vote; Leyrann

Wombat I just saw your young doppelganger on teen jeopardy. Dude mopped the floor with the other contestants. Ended double jeopardy ahead 36k to 9k and 6k

So the logic here is that I disagree about a semantic issue and thus you're all going to get bent out of shape over it? What kind of mafia sense does that make?

No one's getting bent out of shape except you.  You've basically consigned yourself to not voting because you want to stand on principle.  And a stupid principle at that.

I would disagree. We are adding a step for the convenience of.. What exactly? So that votes are easier to see? Bold seems pretty easy to me. And if I was going to vote, would a vote on Maw be appreciated?

Doesn't seem to be gaining much traction.

I find it fascinating that Peace thinks this reasoning scummy.

That's right!  You big jerk!  And your HAIR looks STUPID!

LOUD NOISES!!!

You know what would resolve this?  Oh wait.  I got crapped on for requesting a vote tag to make EVERYONE's lives easier.

Technical issues are really the easiest thing to fix and the thing that would improve my experience the most. Here are some of them...

Vote Tags:  This is probably the easiest tweak of all.  If the site meta is to have votes look like Vote: Yates, why not create a custom tag that does the formatting for you?  Going back to my ISO page, look at my first vote.  It looks kind of like this: Vote: -L-. By simply typing [vote]-L-[/vote], the forum automatically does this in the background:

<span style="font-weight: bold; background:#FFFFFF;padding: 0px 2px;">VOTE: -L-</span>

So a nice tool would be to be able to type [v]Person[/v] and it adds "Vote: " to the front, makes it bold, and changes the font color to red. The output of [v]Person[/v] would be Vote: Person.  To me?  That's a lot faster than typing [ b ][ color=#ff0000 ]Vote: Person[ /color ][/ b ] or even selecting the options from the WYSIWYG.

Seriously, people, not a big deal.  Darthe can vote right or recognize that his votes don't count.  The issue resolves itself.  Why the fuss and nastiness?

@ Peace - Yes it was; he hasn't been in any danger of actually being run up, so I've left my vote where it was for the time being.  I don't think Ley is mafia, and no one else has really stood out yet.

Oh good.  So I'm *not* the only person that thought Ley's vote was scummy opportunistic sheeping.

Vote Ley

Ed has been trying to play this game like he's a standup comedian.  And I'm the dude in the front row chilling with a scotch not laughing.  At all.  We'll see about his act in time...

I think a few people have stood out.  What are your opinions or Turin/Ithi?  Do you think, as I do that Darthe is purposely trying to distract the game with the mock (my interpretation) outrage?

Do you think, as I do that Darthe is purposely trying to distract the game with the mock (my interpretation) outrage?

No. I don't think the outrage is mock at all. It's a very easy and convenient modification to install. Once you're used to it, having to specifically format your votes [especially on a phone] is a pain in the balls. Obviously, he knew that going in. But I think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion and making the game not fun by beating him up over something so silly.
