A whistle is blown.

As far as the Chaser question, Hufflepuff still has the quaffle, is the major question.  Both answers are correct, but we still have not given Gryffindor a chance to defend, therefore....

The quaffle is hit toward Gryffindor's goal post again.

Gryffindor Keeper:  To deflect the quaffle away from your goal post, answer this question:

In the books (not the movies) what is Hermione's first plan to defeat the Devil's Snare plant on the quest for the Philosopher's Stone?

And as a reminder, there is still a beater's question in play.  If an answer is not known, please pass or take a good guess so that we can move on.

okay, there goes another bludger, and your ref is feeling kinder.

go beaters go!

What was Hagrid's Mum's name?

To hit the quaffle toward Gryffindor's goal post, answer this question:

Harry has the ability to speak with snakes.  What is this ability called?

Argh! Almost! Lets try again.

Hufflepuff Chaser

parselmouth

Did Mashi get her question right?

the answer was wrong, but I'm leaving the next move to the smarter ref

Not that I'm one to argue, but you can see the question states, "what is this ability called?"

Technically, a person who can talk to snakes (ie: the ability to talk to snakes) is a parselmouth.  Parseltongue is the actual snake language.  :P

no the Refs have the right of it.

Parselmouth is the slang word for the language.

for instance.  i'm American, but i speak English.  or Pedro is Mexican, but he speaks Spanish.  the ability, or name of the lanuage is Parsletongue; the verb or what you call the person that speaks it is Parselmouth.

lmao @ Ithi.

I think to help keep track of my team, it would be great if all of us on Gryffindor's team would post our regular text in red, although we do still have to post our responses in blue.

If Gryffindor posts in red and Hufflepuff posts in black, I won't get confused about who is on my team and I won't have to go back to page 1 to find out (again and again and again . . . ) . . . LOL!

So we should type in Yellow ....

Hello ... can anyone see me?

*flies into the wall whilst confused*

ROFLOL!  I thought I'd take it easy on you and let you use black but if you want to use yellow to try to Confund us, you're welcome to do so(since you'll also end up Confunding each other) . . .
