OK, ignore the fact that you might've already read it... never mind that Harrison Ford is in the movie... What does the COVER tell you? 

I haven't read it or seen the movie.

 

It looks from cover that it is a fast paced sci-fi.

Sci Fi about a boy with some sort of mind technology

it looks liek a low-vocabularry, low-technicalityy, sci-fi money grab with litle othre purpose but to entertain, one of manny of which can be comonly marked by thir elaborate cover artt which tries to maek up for the inferiorr interior. least thts how i judge it whn I see such cover art lol

Um,you do realize it's a YA title, right? Geez, Taltos.

 

You can tell it's YA from the relative age of the person on the cover. I can't decide if the character is a girl or a young boy. Definitely Sci-fi.

i dont put muchh stock in modern agge ratings - when i was a young adullt, I was breezing shakespeare and the Cycles, thinngs like that - tht isnt to say I had it al fguered out then, I stil uncovre new intrepretations and meaninns evrytime i reread - and whiel I dont like doing the 'if I can do it, so can evryone else" thing becuse I know Im an exceptionall case, I generaly feel liek writing poorlly becaus targeting a certin age gruop is unddrescoring the inteligence of that age range. 

 

covre is straighhtforward, steampunk sci fi set in wild west. I dont get steampunk and generaly dont like sci fi, besids that seems to be folowing the rule of guady cover means not muchh good inside, just for entretainment, so I wuold probably not pickk it up based on that.
