AUGUST 2013 Edition

 

Welcome to this edition of the Tainted Times,  I’m not sure how good this will be, but I will try to get everything in here.

Lets take a look at what has happened in July:

 

 Pokemon Mafia III: The Treasure of Heart Island

 

AH had all and sundry playing mafia, especially for all Pokemon fans (my daughter would have loved this.) This ended in a Town victory, which is good to hear, the mafia seem to win quite a bit lately so well done to the town and all that played.

 

July Discussion

 

This discussion was all about travelling, whether you were a tourist or a traveller. There seem to be some well-travelled people around these parts.

 

Guess the BTer. 

 

A game started by Panchi, still on going, with a lightie in the lead so far, from what I can tell.

 

 British Royal Baby BT "Office" Sweepstake.

 

Nothing like a sweepstake when a baby is due, and this one you couldn’t hide from unless you lived in the heart of the Sahara desert.

 

And the winner is: TURIN, followed by cindi and then Eddie…well done.  He was certainly a good weight (George that is and not Turin!)

This is the second year that the Light Faction hosts a summer event. This year the theme is World Tour.

That included a hangman game, Tanabata Festival, Fortune Teller, Postcard and Souvernir Shop and a discussion about Exotic Destinations.

This is Des’s first mafia game here and it’s already on Day 3.

Shame I haven’t got time for a game at the moment, I do miss a good game of mafia!

Maybe a sweepstake on which side will win!
