I know little to nothing about Ugly Betty, but I keep thinking I oughta check it out.

I am just not attracted to a show with the kid as a star. Netflixing this one may be a good option.

I saw her in "Real Women Have Curves" and I liked it :) I think the actress isn't as young as the part makes her out.

I would hope so if she was in something called "real women have curves". In my mind, Ugly Betty starred a 12-14 year old kid who was...errr... fugly.

IMDB tells me America Ferrera is almost 23, and also starred in The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. Which I'm sure as a movie title is far more amusing to Brits than to us in North America.
