Umm..where do I start...

One day, I was searching the russian translation of Terrry Pratchett's "Snuff" [i can read in english almost freely, just got striken by lazy], and found it on russian WoT forum. After getting the translation itself, I browsed around the forum, got interested in the world discussed there, and downloaded all 13 [at the time] books to read. It was the best literature-related decision ever since I've decided to read "Amber Chronicles" when I was 14 ^^ I am very sad that author died, but atleast books were finished nicely...

 

About me: I am registered in lotsa places, but mostly just lurk and don't write [i tend to stir conflicts, which is not good]; I like fantazy and art. I also like people, you can talk to me about everything.

 

P.S.: myrddraal are damn hot...why it is so...I get that they are evil and deadly and stuff, but I am sure one can fix it...

As I'm sure you've seen there are a couple of sections to the site: the discussion board, the role playing boards and the social groups, which are a great way to get to know people.

 

Apart from the Fades,  , who else do you like in Wheel of Time?

 

I like the world itself - it is huge and interesting [though I am not big on separated-by-gender-and-its-women-who-gets-normally-working-one magic], characters are mostly not one-dimensional [even evil ones, though some of them still are]. I like that some things are subtle where they'll be done straight in the other fantazy titles [Perrin would for sure end as werewolf in the other kind of book, but here, he gets cool dreamworld connection stuff instead].

 

Btw, can I post silly fanfiction ideas here? I've got gew dreams that can grow into interesting stories, but I barely can write myself...

Umm...can people please talk to me a little bit more?I don't want to force myself at anyone,and seems like barely anyone is interested in me anyway...

I don't believe fanfic is allowed here per RJ's wishes. Does anything else here interest you? I spend most of the time in the White Tower and Warders. Have you looked at the social groups?

Yes,and I don't think I'll belong anywhere.I am mostly interested in just a few things [which I take too seriously at time], and doubt people will be interested in my ideas [as they are straightly non-canon, but canon-derivative,therefore count as fanfiction]

RP is ok because you make up your own character and biography.  

 

You might enjoy the discussion forums because there they talk about all sorts of ideas and theories.

 

The social groups are separate from the RP area.

I'm a member of the RP side of things, if you would like to join us I can point you in the right direction. :)

Our Social Groups can be a great way to get to know some of our other members, have fun and discuss common interests. I can personally tell you about two of the social groups; First is the Black Tower which is an overall fun place to go for fun, games and just plain oddities (We're tainted there so there's a lot of silliness). The Second the Band of the Red Hand, of which I am LG of the Archers Division and we enjoy discussing music, travel and food. There are a number of other Social Groups you can check out so please do so and join the one(s) that appeal to you.  You may join as many groups as you like so check them all out when you have the time and have fun!
