Since the One Power can't be touched in Far Madding, how do people born there know it if they can channel?? If this was mentioned in the books, I missed it.

If the Far Madding Ter'angreal duplicate the effects of a Stedding close enough yes. Obviously the insanity part only applying to male channellers and only pre cleansing.

 

Anyone who wants to correct me here feel free as I don't have time to verify facts right now. Somewhere in Winter's Heart there are indications that the Ter'angreal were first put in use to provide just such a result.

they'd have needed to have touch the power first atleast. if they survived the starting sickness (assuming they had no teacher) and haven't built up an addiction yet then yeah, should be able to live long in FM

Well the first touch would never occur in Far Madding, so ostensibly they could live their entire lives their without knowing. Of course if they left it likely wouldn't take that long for them to spark.
