I LOVED IT.

Bugger, I was gonna go see it again today, and then I forgot it was tuesday. Ooops? Oh well, next week.

I thought it was really, truly amazing, and I'll say that The Hunger Games movies are the best book to movie adaptions I have ever seen.

Mostly because the books are very much like movies already.

So they shot some of the movie in Atlanta, specifically in one of the hotels used for DragonCon. Its the building they used for the Tribute training grounds. I'm pretty sure I've been embarrassingly drunk in the lounge they turned into Katniss and Peeta's living room and I'm sure the hotel can't wait for "Naked Joanna Mason" cosplayers to take over their elevators at three in the morning. Kinda took me out of the movie, but still fun.

It was good, I liked it. The next movie I'm looking forward to seeing now is the new hobbit film later this month.

Yeah I checked out that trailer last night after you mentioned it Ryrin, it's gonna be great! It's the same people who's made The Hunger Games actually :)

I think that it is overrated - both the book and the movie. Not a straight magic system, the world is too small comparing it to WoT or the Malazan. I know why the success - it is too simple :(

It doesn't have a magic system, they just have technology. And it's impossible to compare it to WoT, two completly different genres. This isn't a fantasy; it's more of a sci-fi than anything.
