Saw this picture on someone's FB, and it immediately made me think of Lanfear:

 

 

Maybe that's how they dressed in her time, and the Sea Folk, being isolated, kept up the style. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it :P

 

So who/what resembles your image of the Daughter of the Night?

 

Personal interpretation, but I always imagined Lanfear as being more pale. I think the books were rather particular on her "Milky whiteness" - I'm making quotes up of course - but I'm sure it was something along those lines.

 

So it I guess I always pictured her looking like a medieval European noble woman.

Although i know someone gets regularly touted as the actress to play her and i think it probably is a good if obvious choice, more for attitude and ability than looks tho they could fit too:

 

This is Lanfear - the moment I saw her and now when she is a bit more mature...
