Well, its out, who here has tried it, and what do you think? Myself, I'm taking a much needed Hiatus from the game and won't be trying it for a while yet, but I hear that its good.

I am not into PC games... so I can not help you here. But, I know we have some WOW people here.

I no longer play WoW. I may go back in the near future but I doubt it as my 360 would get jealous.

I'm not a huge fan of WoW, but I've heard a lot of good things about this expansion. I'm an EQ2 person myself.

Any insight you can give that might coax me to pick up WoW, Barmacral? :?

I have one:

WoW is supported by Blizzard, makers of several popular and successful game titles for over 10 years.

EQ2 is supported by Sony, devourer of games and lousy support not to mention the constant unnecessary tweaking of their games.

I was a big Sony player. I played everything from Planetside, EQ, EQ2, and SWG. Every game I played the developers made the game horrid. =)

Just my opinion of course.

I've not personally played it but my husband has it...So far he likes it, it's a good revnue booster in game, lots of money to be had for all those nice expensive things that seem to end up on the AH.

We only have one because in both of our opinion it's not worth the money you pay for 10 extra levels, limited use for flying mounts and two extra races and playable classes... $40 bucks is a whole game not an expansion.

It's like you guys speak a different language.

Looks you can't buy virtual stuff on Ebay any more either.

lol that I think is funny, ppl who spend real money on game items just to get a head...

Yeah most of the fun of the game I imagine is leveling up on your own.

lol not really... the best part of the game is making new friends imo.

Once you've done one character there isn't much new to do except some starter level stuff in beginner towns. I don't think MOGs have much of an end game. What do you do once you hit the highest level?

In Dark Age of Camelot it's RvR (Player versus Player). In WoW it's end content and a little PvP but mostly large ass raids <shrugs> both of which I'm not real fond of.
